About the talk
In the world of design, the only constant is change. As soon as we are comfortable with the way things are done, there’s a completely new approach to consider. While this is an exciting part of the industry, it can be challenging to lead yourself and your team through these changes, especially if your background is in a corporate environment.
So what needs to change to transition from a corporate environment to a lean startup?
Taryn D'Souza, Senior Experience Designer at SEEK, will join UX Gatherings to share her experience in creating a lean UX process that ensures design has a seat at the table. She will speak about the process, tools and methods she needed to develop to make design work in a lean startup environment.
Taryn D’Souza is a Senior Experience Designer at SEEK. She draws on her 18 years of experience in the Australia, Asian and American markets to create human-centered products and services. She leads strategic and tactical experience design initiatives on web and mobile projects.
Taryn is invloved in the Women in Tech movement in vary capacities having organised or spoken at a number of different events including Girls in Tech, Geek Girl Dinner, and Camp SEEK.
